Modern internal combustion engines are finely tuned machines for providing automotive power. While the engine is usually discussed as a single entity, it is in fact the sum of many parts.

Car engine parts include the cylinders, in which the fuel is burnt to create power for the wheels, valves, which let fuel in and exhaust gases out, and spark plugs, which ignite the combustible fuel mixture.

Over the lifetime of a vehicle, various engine parts for any car will need replacing from time to time

Brakes are the means by which the driver is able to slow the car down or bring it to a complete stop. Each wheel has its own brake, and there are two main types of car brakes - disc brakes and drum brakes. Disc brakes work via sets of callipers and brake pads, which apply friction to the outside of the brake discs to stop it spinning. Drum brakes work on the same basic principle but utilise brake shoes within a cylinder to provide their stopping power.
Properly functioning brake parts for any car are essential to motoring safety and must be replaced when any of the parts become worn to prevent loss

Your engine is constantly on the go, constantly spinning. The clutch is the system by which the engine is engaged and the car drives. It's the job of the clutch to create a smooth engagement between the engine and a non-spinning transmission.
The clutch allows engine power to be applied gradually when the vehicle initially pulls away, it interrupts power to the transmission for gear change and stops the engine stalling when bringing vehicle to a stop. When clutch is fully engaged (clutch pedal fully raised) this allows power from the engine to the transmission creating drive at the wheels. When the clutch is disengaged (clutch pedal fully depressed) this stops the power from the engine to the

Your exhaust system is your car's only means of channelling poisonous fumes such as carbon monoxide, generated by the engine. A failure in any of the exhaust parts can result in fumes being contained in the car with potentially fatal consequences. In addition, modern exhaust parts help your car to deal with fumes in an environmentally responsible way.
An exhaust part such as the silencer needs to be regularly checked. It is often those parts that are exposed to the elements that show the first signs of wear. Finding quality exhaust systems for any car is a vital part of maintaining your car's performance and safety.
